Your experience begs me to ask - what do you think of Abaco versus the other carribean places you've been too? I've been to all those other places also, but many years ago.
They were all much more commercial, civilized, crime-ridden, but had cheaper groceries of course. Most of them had more in the way of history too.

But does any place have the same boat-renting/island hopping kind of life as Abaco? From what I recall, no where else in the carribean can you rent a 18' whaler and safely cruise 50 miles of sea. True?
