Obviously, no one place has EVERYTHING... not even at home. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. Abaco (for us) is a short trip, the area is unspoiled and peaceful, the water clean and clear, the people friendly. We bring some groceries with us, and don't find the "food-thing" to be so great a problem as to keep us away.
I've been to Tobago, Jamaica, Mexico, Barbados, Antigua, and more. Each has its good & bad points. We keep returning to Abaco. Other than the BVI's, I don't think there's a place that offers the safe, line of sight sailing/ boating type experience. And the BVI's are expensive, too. So...?
