We always mean to try other places, but somehow never get around to it. Hope Town is friendly, quiet, has everything we need. Yes,the groceries are more expensive. But to be honest, have never thought of bringing food with us. While we are there we eat a lot of "breakfast" type foods, omelette's, soups and such like. The rest of the time it is Munchies or Captain Jack's, and one night out at one of the fancier restaurants. Last time there I did keep track of what I spent on food, and it was about 30% more than at home. Personally, I can live on Vernon's bread and great Irish butter with maybe a little marmalade and cheese on the side.
