My wife and I want to reclaim our Life. Sue & I have spent the last 11
years insanely dedicated to growing our small business. Its definitely time
for a break. We are looking to rent a reasonably priced, small cottage and
boat from some nice people, preferably a small family run operation
(emphasis on nice) in the Abacos. Were are tring to find some no hassle folks
that want to rent their things to couple of nice people who wont abuse them.
We are want a place where we can pay a fair price and the you make a
reasonable profit without a lot of repair bills or opportunity cost due to
down time.

My wife and I are Looking for a small, but nice, water front cottage
(1 bedroom OK) with Dock/AC/TV for two weeks in Feb. I Think we want easy
access to the Marsh Harbor area, but I'm a first timer and I'm open to some
sagely advice to the contrary.

We would also like access to, or rental of a 19-23', Deep V or Cat boat, with
Bimini top, engine size 70-140 HP, with at least 50 gal fuel capacity.

We are hoping to do a lot of island hopping and a little snorkeling and fishing.
I have a lot of boating experience in tidal waters in the US, but no local
knowledge of the waters in the Abacos.

I will be bringing a hand held GPS to aid in navigation and I look to identify
and purchase local charts. Are the waters in the Abacos well marked and well
charted? Is significant local knowledge required to safely travel between
the islands of the Abacos?

All replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Shaun & Sue
