I have just returned from a two week sail through the islands. The Guana Beach Resort and hotel are lo longer there. The main building burned after the hurricane (Floyd). The beach is dramatically eroded, but the islanders are very resillient and are putting things back together. Nippers is still there and they are very hospitable and appreciative of the business. Do not put off your trip or go to another spot.
