Benjie still has pneumonia and requires a ventilator to breathe; he has not required blood/blood products transfusion for three days; his kidney function is being monitored very carefully; the doctors feel there is a possibility that his liver may still have some ability to function on a pre-accident level; BUT the best news is that he is responding to commands and opening his eyes. Thank all of you for your continuing thoughts and prayers. Audrey
