Little Harbour, Bugs, and a Sailboat

Well after several months it's great to be posting something back onto the board.

Back in September, our sailboat trip was canceled because of Floyd. Well we have rescheduled our sailboat vacation for the middle of May. Also, I will be back to Hope Town in August with family (John B., his wife Linda, and Chief Tom) so those bugs better be looking out for us. We know where you are.

Ok, back to the upcoming trip. It has been several years since I have cruised that area on a sailboat, so if you all don't mind, just a few questions:

1) We are chartering a Hunter 37. There will be three adults and one teen. Does anybody have any input on this type of boat and any suggestions?
2) We will be sailing down to Little Harbour. Is the passage between Lubbers and Tilloo possible or should we take the long way around? I believe the boat draws about 4 1/2 ft.
3) We plan on spending the first night down Little Harbour way. Should we anchor inside the harbour (problem with bigs?), anchor just outside (am looking at pg. 102 of Steve Dodge's cruising guide and see several anchor symbols outside) or should we anchor over by Lynyard Cay?

Well that should be it for now. I hope you all don't mind future questions as I continue to plan out route. If anybody is in Hope Town soon, please tell Vernon Malone that Paul Billington, the youth pastor from Nashville, says hi.

Thank you in advanve for all and any help.

Abaco Paul
