We're 28 days from the Abacos and the countdown has begun! We're trying to prepare for fishing. Although we will have a guide for bonefish one day and a guide deep sea fishing another day, we want to be prepared for the days without guides. We'll have our own boat and plan to fish the Sound and maybe also walk into some bonefishing after our guided trip if thats possible. My question is... what lures and bait should we get beforehand for fishing the sound and is trolling or still fishing the best method from the boat? Also, any ideas for flies, lures/bait for bonefish? I know our guides will tell us when we're there but I want to be prepared and don't want to find we can't get what we need once we're in the Abacos. Thanks in advance for the help.
