Being from these parts, I feel that I can give you a good synopsis of the kind of weather to look forward to in June; I also love to watch weather so...

In June the #1 good thing to look forward to is NO HURRICANES - although it is the beginning of Hurricane Season, it is extremely rare to even see a tropical storm around here until late July to August.

June is a wonderful month as far as the weather goes, and AW is right when talking of squalls. They are always quite visible mostly in the midday to mid afternoon. You can tell which way it will go depending on the tides. Right now I'm at a loss trying to remember which way it goes when tides is coming in and vice versa, so hopefully some other board member may be able to help you with the particulars.

It is not quite like AW says all the time, however, it can get a bit choppy at times. Sometimes though, it gets real calm in the middle of the squall. And, as a caution, always be on the look out for the occasional waterspout.

But all in all, the best time of year for just pure boating starts in June, and usually lasts at least thru September.
