I must agree with Lisa. It is often quite intimidating to approach a socially powerful person, as Johnny is perceived to be. When I have expressed displeasure with an establishment in the US, I am always brushed off with the retort, "you are a complainer and it is not bothering anyone else." So I understand why these people chose this method. It has certainly opened dialogue and I will guess that Johnny has heard more about behaviors going on on Guana than he ever imagined were possible. Also, when I have been at Nippers, while I never had any reason to complain, I also could never really tell who was in charge and who was hired help. If I had seen anything, I would never have thought it was my place to complain. I would simply have not returned, and a number of people have posted that they choose to do that. that is my standard approach here in the US. Plenty of other people want my business. Like so many, I hope for a resolution, an understanding, and perhaps a reduction in the noise level--one must get nearly a quarter mile away sometimes not to hear the music on the beach.
