I know some may not believe this, but I have read thru all the post thus far, and have reserved myself from responding, because so many have ended up with the points I would have come up with. However, there comes this post by Nipper friend, and she says one thing that I cannot ignore.
she says:

"Johnny has done a great job and without him Guana would not exist."

While I have nothing against Johnny, and I think he has actually done some good for Guana (I also think he inadvertantly has brought some bad too), it is rediculous to say "without him Guana would not exist". My family is from that cay, and they have survived for YEARS before Johnny came on the scene, when there was one tiny resort on the island, and one restaurant. If Johnny never came to Guana Cay, Guana Cay would still be on the map. WHY? Because you can't hide the beautiful beaches, the reefs and the friendliest people. THEY are what make this cay a sought after spot. This is where many 2nd Homeowners want to build, because of the serenity and beauty of this cay(both of which exist without Johnny). Please, refrain from the rediculous.

*NOTE* This is in no way an insult or aginst what Johnny has done, this is just against a specific comment.
