Would you like a loud racous bar in your neighbourhood? Would you say it's okay because it porvides your neighbourhood with money? I don't think so. This is the issue here. The issue that spawned the whole discussion does not relate to the quality of their service as such, but the detriment that the crowds who seem to be flocking to it bring. Yes, Nippers is a wonderful restaurant/bar, but there are times (particularly on sundays) when the crowds get out of hand and do those things that some have mentioned. If we have to have hordes of wild drunk people disturbing the peace and the sanctity of our homeland, then I could care less for the "Tourist Dollar" that you refer to. Thank God that the majority of tourists do not think like yourself, because that woukld indeed be a shame. BTW there are internet businesses poping up all over the Bahamas, and oh my goodness, yes even here in Abaco there are actually two successful internet companies, and would you believe it is a growing industry???
And I doubt that it is for reasons of jealousy that people are now getting on Nippers case (there maybe more personal reasons, but I doubt very seriously that jealousy is one of them).
