I believe the Abaco Inn does allow kids. In fact, the Abacos are considered a prime place for families. Most people keep a close eye on their youngsters, enough that they would not bother a couple who wish to be "alone" (although there are always exceptions, nothing is absolute). I think you would probably have a great time, based at the Abaco Inn (although I haven't stayed there, myself), at many other places in Abaco. There are many relatively secluded areas with great beaches, good food (although personal preferences and opinions vary widely), and ample opportunity for privacy. Lots of people honeymoon here and then come back year after year.

However, if your truly want to be somewhere where kids are not allowed, you may want to go to a resort elsewhere. Abaco does have a few places where one can stay (mostly private cottages, and none come to mind at the moment--board members?) that do not allow kids. Nevertheless, if you stay at one of these places, please realize that, because other lodging welcomes families, unless you never leave your cabin/villa/room, you are likely to see (and therefore have to behave appropriately in front of) children. Furthermore, the people who live and work in Abaco and its cays have families; their children are well-behaved and delightful, but will be seen and heard playing in their community when they aren't in school.

You don't say why you're interested in a place with "no kids," so pardon me if I've speculated incorrectly--just want to answer your inquiry. Good luck in your search.

Margie K.
