Sharks are everywhere in every ocean. We just generally don't see them. There is another post that is right on the money. You don't want to swim in an area where someone is fishing and/or spearfishing. It really isn't a big deal. You just have to be aware. None of this bothers me a bit. It can happen though. Remember, a woman was recently killed by a Black Bear in the Smokey Mountain National Park. You stand a MUCH bigger chance getting killed by lightning than being bitten by a shark. Don't worry about it.
