Renting a Boat

We'll be renting a Boston Whaler to get around when we visit Elbow Cay in October and I was wondering if it's easy to moor your boat when going to town. We'll be staying right near Hopetown (which is supposedly a 10 min. walk away for the house we're staying at). I'm not sure how it works, can you moor your boat anywhere, do you have to pay a fee just to "park it" for a few hours, how does this work? It looks like a lot of restaurants pick you up, but what if we just need to go and get groceries and that sort of thing, where would we "park" our boat? Do we have to park it in a marina?

Thanks for any advice,

Julie
