Joe, I would highly reccomend taking the dinghy! There is tooooooo much area out there to cover "On Foot". A hundred yards is a LOOOOOONG way to go after snorkelling most of the day. Also you can't cover as much area "on foot" as you can with a dinghy and you always have a safety area to go if something unforseen happens. We found the best spot to snorkel was on the outer barrier reef on the Atlantic side of Guana directly across the island from Bakers Bay. We anchored for a few days in Bakers Bay and used the dinghy to get around to the reef each day to dive. Steve
