Karen,

If you are staying at the Abaco Beach Resort you will be well cared
for. There is a small grocery, liquor store, restaurant and laundry
within the grounds. You are only a short walk from the stores, bars
and restaurants of 'downtown' Marsh Harbour.

With a boat to play with for a few days you should try and hit Hope Town,
Man O' War and Guana - all are so close but each has it's own special
flavour.

You could also rent a car (ask at the hotel desk for details) and drive
south from Marsh Harbour to Little Harbour, Cherokee and points beyond.
It's a fun thing to do if the weather happens to be less than perfect
for sunning or boating and will fill most of a day if you explore some
of the side roads.

My final piece of advice for first timers......smile and say "hello" to
everyone you pass on the street... you will be rewarded !
