Try Froggies Dive boat for the 50 or so people transfer. If the Ferry said they couldn't do it at night, they just probably didn't want to do it. They can do that passage with their eyes shut so wouldn't think night would be a prob.
The Green Turtle people could be a problem. You said reception at dark. So after a really good one, could be a little (drunk or dark) out wouldn't want to send anyone all the way to GT. Rental boats or ferry's usually don't run at nite. Is a mid-day wedding an option?
Most newer taxi's have good AC.
Maybe the locals can help with catering...they should know which restaurants are willing..
