We have bought a lot at Guana Seaside and are building a cottage. I agree with PeteR in a way. If you enjoy boating or sailing I would not invest in the cottage. It would be a double expense and tie you down. We are building because we want to get to the point of staying in the Caribbean for three months at a time in the future and this seems like a good way to get started and the Abacos are wonderful. Boating alone is not our style yet and when I go I just want to rest. Everyone has their own preferences. Try the boating for a while first.
