I take a cooler (70qt) and use it for a variety of things all
non-perishible. I include masks, binouculars, all manner
of fishing tackle, COFFEE from Peets or Batdorf, a few spices, and
knives come to mind. Stuff that you can't buy at any price. The cooler is then
used in the boat all week(s) and to bring the stuff back or
if I am fortunate enough to catch some fish the day before returning I'd
bring some fish back to the states.

Someone mentioned butter; there is excellent irish butter
available at the veg store and the regular Land 'O Lakes is
cheaper in Marsh than at home. The chicken and pork down there is fine and not
expensive, but a good steak would be worth the hassle to bring.
