Hey, everything you say makes sense. Bottom line is, we're going to be pretty secluded (where we're staying.) We've been boating for years here in Michigan, but always within a few miles of a grocery store. We aren't staying "in town" or at a resort, so "running to the store" will not be convenient.

Since we're avid boaters, we have serveral coolers, some that we really won't need to bring back. So snorkeling gear, bincocs, that's a great idea to use, espcially if you really want to protect something.
