ROUNDABOUT LANDSCAPING
Improvements will soon be under way for the Marsh Harbour Airport roundabout. The
circle will be newly landscaped and the centrepiece will feature a sculpture by local
artist Donnie Woods of three billfish.
The venture is still in its early planning stages but Donnie Woods has produced a
model of the sculpture which features a Blue Marlin, a White Marlin and a Sailfish.
He has started work on the full scale billfish, each of which will be 12 feet long.
A committee headed by Judy Johnston will liaise with the artist, local government
and those involved with the landscaping. More details soon.
