DAVID M BAILEY
David M Bailey, 86, passed away in Michigan on 16th January. Dave and Ellie (his wife of 56 years) purchased their home on Ocean Boulevard in 1965, one of the six original homes there.
Early on they enjoyed short winter visits with their three children and numerous houseguests. After Daves retirement they resided in their Treasure Cay home for most of the winter enjoying the beach, golfing, fishing and enjoying the company of their many friends. No matter where they travelled, Treasure Cay always held a special place in their hearts.
RICHARD CLIFTON SAWYER
Funeral services for Richard Clifton Sawyer, 83, were held at the Assembly of God, Cherokee Sound, on 22nd February. Rev Bateman Sands, Rev Bob Cornea, Rev Carlton Dorsette and Rev Carla Culmer officiated and interment was made in the public cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Eugene and Daniel Sawyer; three daughters, Ester Roberts, Doreen Albury and Eunice Roberts; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
GEORGE KASSAINT
Funeral services for George Kassaint, 35, of Marsh Harbour, were held on 27th February at International Gospel Mission. Pastor Robin Weatherford officiated and interment followed in the Public Cemetery, Marsh Harbour.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Gladys Monestime; three daughters, Manoucheka, Freedline and Natalie; two sons, Georgeson and Fritzson; mother, Cilene Fils-Aime; four brothers; one sister; and many other relatives.
AUDREY A SATTEM
Funeral services for Audrey A Sattem were held at the Green Turtle Gospel Chapel on 1st March. Officiating were Bro Gurth Roberts and Bro Gene Lowe. Interment followed in the Green Turtle Cay Public Cemetery.
Mrs Sattem is survived by her husband, Paul; daughter, Jennifer Sawyer; son, Joshua Sattem; son-in-law, Michael Sawyer; mother, Joyce Sands; sisters, Betty Lobosky and Gaylene Gonzalez; brother, David Sands; father-in-law, Robert Sattem; mother-in-law, Betty Sattem; sister-in-law, Linda Sattem; brother-in-law, James Crouch and Bobby Malone; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
JOHN HEALON LOWE
Funeral Services for John Healon Lowe, 76, of Dundas Town, were held at St John the Baptist Anglican Church, Marsh Harbour, on 8th March. Officiating was Fr Cornell Moss, assisted by Rev Earl Hepburn. Interment followed in Dundas Town Public Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Annamae; four sons, Larry, Brent, Garth and Ricardo (Aaron); two daughters, Angela Holloway and Susan Lowe; eighteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
ANGELA PANDORA DAVIS
Funeral services for Angela Pandora Davis, 47, of Murphy Town were held at Bethany Gospel Chapel. Officiating was Bishop Livingstone Williams Jr. Interment was made in Murphy Town Public Cemetery.
Cherished memories are held by her husband, Thomas Davis; Two daughters, Jewel and Melissa Davis; two sons, Angelo and Achaz; her parents, Alexander and Mable Saunders and Enos and Betty Laing; twelve brothers; fifteen sisters; fourteen nieces; twenty nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
