COLINA OPENS OFFICE ON ABACO
Colina Financial Services opened their Abaco office on Queen Elizabeth Drive between
the traffic lights and the Marsh Harbour dock at a reception held in front of the
new offices on 8th March. The services to be made available to the Abaco community
were outlined by President Emanuel Alexiou and others while the official cutting of the
ribbon was performed by Colina's longest serving patron on the island, Ms Beatrice
Moxey.
Refreshments were served and gifts to all of the over one hundred guests were distributed.
But the most important gifts were those of computers to Fox Town Primary School,
Mores Island All-Age School and Abaco Central High School donated by Colina to assist in the technological and communications development of a representative sector of
Abaconian students.
MP Robert Sweeting thanked Colina on behalf of the Abaco community and looked forward
to greater involvement by Abaconians in investments and other financial ventures.
Mr Kendal Munnings, Registrar of Insurance, noted Colina was the first Bahamian whole
life insurance company and that the present expansion was based upon a solid financial
base and professional expertise.
