FREDRICK ROBERTS

Funeral services for Deacon Fredrick Roberts, 67, of Sandy Point were held at Mount Zion Baptist Church on 3rd July. Officiating was Rev Dr Michael Symonette assisted by Rev Napoleon Roberts and Rev Dr Carrington Pinder. Interment was in Sandy Point Public Cemetery.

Deacon Roberts is survived by his wife, Annie Roberts; five sons, Herbert, Rudolph, Preston, Christopher and Julian Roberts; four daughters, Fredrica Winters, Erlane Hield, Carmen and Doris Roberts; three brothers, Rev Napoleon, Samuel and Boisy Roberts; sixteen grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

LEONARD ROKER

Funeral services for Leonard Roker, 67, of Sandy Point were held at St Martin's Anglican Church on 10th July. Officiating was Fr High Chapman, assisted by catechist Benjamin Pinder. Interment was in Sandy Point Public Cemetery.

Mr Roker is survived by his wife, Grace Roker; two sons, Leonard and Andrew; five daughters, Annie Green, Barbara Thompson, Sandra Knowles, Leona Green and Faith Charlton; twenty grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

JACK LESLIE PINDER

Funeral services for Jack Leslie Pinder, 46, were held 9th July at Marsh Harbour Gospel Chapel. Officiating were Bros Gurth Roberts, Ray Zander, Ted Pearce, David Cartwright and Bob Cornea. Interment was made in Marsh Harbour Cemetery.

Born in Spanish Wells, Leslie Pinder lost his first wife, Sharon, to cancer in1987. He married Mandy Sands and relocated to Abaco where he gained the reputation of being one of the finest builders on the island. Leslie was diagnosed with leukaemia earlier this year.

Mr Pinder is survived by his wife, Mandy; two sons, Jason and Jenson; one daughter-in-law, Christina; one grandson, Bronson; one sister; three brothers; and a host of relatives and friends.
