ABACO BOAT BURNS
The fishing vessel Dark
Side, owned by Terrence and Donald Pinder of Sandy Point, caught fire and
was completely destroyed on 5th November while the crew were
crawfishing in the Bimini area. The vessel was some 10-12 miles off Bimini when
the fire was detected at about 2 pm. The crew were able to evacuate the vessel
and nobody was injured. It is believed that an electrical short caused the
fire.
