JESSIE MAE ADVILDA SWAIN

Funeral services for Jessie Mae Swain, 35, were held at Zion Baptist Church, Murphy Town, on 4th November. Officiating was Pastor B Lewis, assisted by other ministers. Interment followed in Murphy Town Public Cemetery.

Left with cherished and fond memories are her parents, Firstina and Bradford Swain; sons, Perez and Renaldo; daughter, Maxine; sisters Sandra Rolle, Leannah, Gaylene, Sharon and Edith; brothers, Kevin, Carlos, Ronald, Terrance, Kippling and Gregon; grandparents, Samuel and LeannaRolle of Rolle Town, Exuma; and many more relatives and friends.

SAMUEL LIGHTBOURNE

Funeral services for Samuel Lightbourne, 78, were held on 4th November at St Martin's Anglican Church, Sandy Point. Officiating was Fr Hugh Chapman, assisted by Catechist Benjamin Pinder. Interment was in Sandy Point Public Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Velma; two sons, Arthur Lightbourne and Steadman Lightbourne; adopted sons Richard, Ivan, Robert, Basil and Alexander McKinney; four daughters, Loraine Burrows, Lula Burrows, Natasha Martin and Jane Bain; 51 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

SYLVIA LOUISE WILLIAMS

Funeral services for Sylvia "Syrvilla" Williams, 65, were held at Trumpet Assembly of God, Dundas Town, on 25th December. Officiating were Pastor Carlton Dorsette, Rev Stafford Symonette, Bishop Joseph Swann and Pastor Bishop Clarence Williams. Interment followed in Dundas Town Public Cemetery.

Mrs Williams is survived by her husband, James; twelve sons, Theophilus, Jimmy, Augustine, John Luellyn, Clifford, Harry, Joseph, Elvin, Lynden, Deno and Sean; six daughters, Inez Carroll, Ivy Maycock, Denise Simmons, Jeaneane Dorsette and Angela Brown; fifty-seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A beloved member of her community, Mrs Williams was most lately concerned with Sybil's House, a home for the elderly which she founded and administered along with her husband, James Williams.

JENNIEMAE LOUISE CORNISH-ROLLE

Funeral services for Jenniemae Louise Cornish-Rolle of Treasure Cay were held on 26th November at the Church of God Cathedral, Coopers Town. Officiating were Rev Stafford Symonette and Bishop Archilus Cooper, assisted by other ministers. Interment followed at Southside Cemetery.

Mrs Rolle is survived by her husband, Godfrey Rolle; three sons, Chaino, Godfrey Jr and Calsey; three grandchildren; her mother, Beatrice Lorrie Cornish-Hanna; and many other relatives and friends.
