A MESSAGE FROM BLUFF HOUSE BEACH HOTEL
As you know, we suffered considerable damage from Hurricanes Dennis and Floyd. The
great thing, however, is that we are using this time as an opportunity to renew,
renovate and repair our entire facility in order to ensure that we come back better
than ever before.
Listed below are some of the many things that were completed for the enjoyment of
our guests by opening day on 19th November:
A completely new bar with fabulous views overlooking the Sea of Abaco;
The entire Main House has been completely repainted and renovated with new carpeting
and new furniture;
New shingled roofs on all buildings;
The kitchens have been redone with new catering equipment and walk-in freezer and
cooler;
New crockery, cutlery and glassware;
New walkway to the luxury upper suites, deluxe rooms and split suites;
The fresh water pool by the Main House has been redone;
New beach and pool furniture, including large umbrellas;
Over 3,000 square feet of decking have been added to the Main House, which will be
ideal for some of the many weddings and private functions;
The villas have new ceramic floor tiles, as do some of the split level suites;
New 150 foot landing dock in White Sound.
The grounds crew are doing a fine job and the landscaping is starting to come back.
It was so sad to see so many trees down, but now we are seeing new growth and even
the birds have returned. Nature is truly amazing.
The new bar in the Main House is almost completed. Looks great. Panoramic views, new
bigger bar for those who like leaning room, more room for our nights of dancing.
It's going to be really nice.
