HAITIAN PRIDE
Once upon a time most vehicles belonging to members of the Haitian community on Abaco
were smoking, rattling jalopies. Not any more. Some of the smartest vehicles on the
island now belong to men and women of Haitian descent. In addition, most of their
cars sport a plate with the national flag of Haiti.
