ECLIPSE OF THE SUN
A total eclipse of the sun will be seen by residents of the Caribbean islands of Aruba, Curaçao and Antigua on Thursday 26th February. On Abaco we will observe a 50% eclipse which will begin shortly after 1 pm and last for about two and a half hours.
Remember that looking directly at the sun is dangerous. You can keep
track of the progress of the eclipse safely by making a pin hole in an
index card, or something similar. Focus the light from the sun that passes
through the pin hole onto a sheet of white paper.
