Murder Suspect Charged:
Tennel McIntosh, 18, was charged in magistrate's court in Nassau of the murders of
two women, Lori Fogleman of the US and Joanne Clarke of England. He was committed
to stand trial in the Supreme Court.
Canadian Charged With Murder:
Dallas Murray, a 46 year old Canadian resident of Rock Sound, was charged on 18th
December 1998 with the murder of British primary schoolteacher Carole Leach. Ms Leach
was murdered in August 1997 and had spent seven years teaching in the south Eleuthera
community. On 29th December, Sidnet Pyfrom of Rock Sound was charged with being concerned
with another in the murder of Carole Leach. Both recommendations for charges arose
out of a coroner's court hearing in Eleuthera.
