ROYAL PALM FRONDS

The month of November was anything but dull in Treasure Cay. You read a
very complete article in last month's Journal about the tornado that blew
through on November 5th and you've read about the damage sustained at Royal
Palm in our Newsletter. Suffice it to say that we are well recovered from
that unfortunate event. A happier November occasion was Thanksgiving Day
which was celebrated in private homes all over our community. Most folks
made it a pot luck affair which provided our hostesses breathing space as
well as allowing all to taste the delicious specialty dishes from different
parts of the United States. A grand holiday was had by all and we hope you
did as well.

Friendly faces seen around and about were Nan and George Gregory, Caryl and
Richard Actis-Grande, Virginia and Harry Peterson, Bud and Nan Camferdam,
Jerry and Doris Gedon, Kathy and Jim Braham, Kathy and James McAllister, Diane and
Don Gerlach, Claudia and Peppino Campi, Marlese and Tom Rathslag, Jose Miranda,
Una Galli, Shirley and George Johnston, Brenda and Joe Calihan, Director Jack and
Ann Tupper, Peter Hewitt, Michelle and Florence Gillet, Director Mike and Karen
Meyer, Jean and Bill Glasgow and Director Jerry Hill.

Our new driveway is complete! Our tennis court refurbishing is complete! So
we are ready and anxious for our snow birds to fly south and enjoy our
beautiful part of the island with us.
