ROADRUNNERS BICYCLE STORE
Roadrunners Bicycle Store is a 100% Bahamian owned and operated company which was
started back in Nassau in 1982 by brothers Theo and Huel Moss Jr. One reason for
their success is that their business philosophy is based on treating their customers
as family, insisting that their staff are knowledgeable, friendly and smiling. They offer
quality, fairly-priced products with exceptional after-sale support and boast a very
high repeat customer base.
After being transferred to Abaco nearly six years ago, Huel Moss saw the need for
a full service bicycle store here on Abaco. An independent branch of Roadrunners
Bicycle Store has opened on Forest Drive in Dundas Town next to Long Bay School and
is managed by Huel's wife, Charmica. The store prides itself on its service department and
makes repairs on any size, make or model of bicycle. Nearly $10,000 has been invested
in special bicycle service equipment and tools. Huel has been the chief bicycle mechanic and brings 15 years of experience to Abaco.
In addition to a wide selection of tricycles, bicycles, accessories and parts the
store offers special services such as building of wheels, assembly of units, refurbishing
and maintenance of frames and complete units. The store also carries a small line
of treadmills, recumbents, home gyms, children carriers, adult tricycles and exercisers.
Roadrunners Bicycle Store is a complete sales and service store which carries brand
name cycles like Barracuda, Sting Ray, Lady delight, Parrot
and Sugar Apple.
In addition to offering top class sales and service, Roadrunners Bicycle Store is
committed to placing bicycle parking racks at all schools in the district. They also
promote inter-school cycle racing competitions with proceeds donated to Trauma One,
Abaco's volunteer ambulance service. Roadrunners offers a free gift, a free 30 day check
over and a 30 day warranty with every cycle purchase. Check us out.
