INDEPENDENCE DAY
Thursday 10th July is Independence Day in The Bahamas and will be observed as a public holiday. This year is the 30th anniversary of Independence and there will be lots of worshipping and celebrating on Abaco. There will be activities from 6th July in Sandy Point and Cherokee Sound, an ecumenical service and flag-raising ceremony at Central Abaco Primary School on 9th July starting at 9 pm, and Independence games at Man-O-War Cay on 10th July.
