ROYAL PALM FRONDS

It is mid June as I write and Treasure Cay has almost seen the close of
their annual fishing tournaments which provided entertainment for owners as
well as guests, who often take an evening stroll to inspect the latest record
setting catch of the day. It's surprising how many records get shattered
each season.

Peggy and Hagan Peters came over from Memphis for a nice two week visit with
friends who all seemed to have a wonderful time. Bud Camferdam popped in
for an overnight and a round of golf with his Little Rock buddies who spent
the next five days hunting for denizens of the deep on his friend's yacht. We only
saw him briefly but it was enough to brighten our evening!

Claudia and Peppino Campi have been entertaining all of their family,
daughters Maria Gratzia and Franchesca, son Augustino and daughter in law
Flavia who arrived with 3-month old Matia, old enough to be beautiful and
young enough to be manageable. Perfect timing!

Gary and Diane Frauenholz arrived with some family, and David and Freda
Janney came for a very short visit. New owners Mary Lou and Bill Nielsen
are taking advantage of their new-to-them condo and have been in residence
for many weeks, as has Joyce Turpin. Consuelo and Jorge Latour and Marco Perez
arrived with plans to be in residence for the summer. Pat and Lynn Arnold
were here for a short stay as were Director Mike Meyer and Karen, who braved
the graduation celebratory trip with son John and three friends. Peter
Rockwell was seen on his way home and rumour has it that Mike Bunnett was
about for a few days.

Our weather has been ideal and boating a delight. We have another good twelve
weeks of summer time which should entice many of our owners to return.

Please Note: The driveway resurfacing project will begin on October 5, 1998.
