MARVIN HIGGS

Funeral services were held for Marvin Higgs, 49, at the Marsh Harbour Gospel Chapel, Marsh Harbour, on 24th April. Pastor David Cartwright and Brother Gurth Roberts officiated. Interment was made in Marsh Harbour Public Cemetery.

Mr Higgs is survived by his wife, Gaylene; son, Stephen; brother, Larry; three sisters, Arlene Key, Frances Roberts and Carol Higgs; five brothers-in-law, Walter Key, Bunyan Roberts, Robert Higgs, Gene Lowe and Gary Lowe; two sisters-in-law, Ann Lowe and Sheena Lowe; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Until his passing Mr Higgs was the head pharmacist at the Chemist Shoppe, Marsh Harbour.

CHARLES WILSON SAWYER

Funeral services for Charles Wilson Sawyer, 84, were held at Aldersgate Methodist Church, Marsh Harbour, on 26th April. Officiating were Rev Charles Carey and Pastor David Cartwright. Interment was made in Marsh Harbour Public Cemetery.

Mr Sawyer was born in Marsh Harbour on 12th April 1918 to John and Ellen Sawyer. "Pa Charles",

He is survived by his wife, Mary Sawyer; daughter, Bettee Albury; he was predeceased by his daughter Winifred Sawyer and son Junior Sawyer; he is also survived by his son-in-law, Carroll Albury; step-daughters, Marie Pinder and Winifred Albury; step-sons-in-law, Rudy Pinder and Junior Albury; grandsons and their wives, Chad and Ginnie Sawyer, Mike Sawyer, Doug and Mary Albury, Sean and Brenda Albury, Christopher and Celeste Pinder, and Charles Whitman Albury; granddaughters, Marlene Sawyer and Heidi Albury; great grandchildren, Dana Albury, Montana Albury, Haley Albury, Josh Albury, Jaden Albury, Shea Bussert, Bailey Pinder and Matthew Pinder; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

MONIQUE WENDY FOX

Funeral services for Monique Wendy Fox, 34, were held on 27th April at the Assemblies of God Church, Sandy Point. Officiating was Pastor Erskine Wells. Interment followed in Sandy Point Cemetery.

Left to cherish her memories are her parents, Inez and Silbert Fox; children, Shakara Burrows, Shakakla Moxey and Acheo Moxey; grandmother, Leola Fox Lightbourne; six sisters, Sheila Ferguson, Cheryl Ferguson, Gretamae Ferguson, Andrea McKinney, Felecia Fox and Nakishe Fox; five brothers, Wayne Fox, Perry Fox, Bradley Fox, Ron Fox and Ambimbola Fox; and a host of other relatives and friends in both Abaco and Grand Bahama.

CLEVELAND SAMUEL DAVIS

Funeral services for Cleveland Samuel Davis, 71, were held on 11th May at St Marks Ba

Mr Davis is survived by three sons, Marcus, Nelson and Michael; one daughter, Marilyn Davis; 19 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends from Crossing Rocks, Sandy Point and Mores Island.

LORETTIS McBRIDE

Funeral services for Lorettis McBride, 65, were held on 11th May at St Matthews Baptist Church, Mores Island. Officiating was Pastor Genieva Williams and interment was made on the Mores Island Public cemetery.

Left to cherish her memories are nine sons, Alfred, Maxwell, Edroy, James Utlas, Kingston and and Earlin McBride, Ednol Swain and Cardinal Gaitor; three daughters, Ruthmae McBride, Bethsheba Mott and Renay Russell; 37 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
