DARTS FEDERATION NATIONAL MASTERS 1998
Selection for the national darts team to compete in the Caribbean Championships
due to be held in St Lucia in July was held in Marsh Harbour on 1st and
2nd May at the Anglican Church Hall. Members from the Nassau Darts Association,
the Grand Bahama Darts Association and the Abaco Darts Association all
competed for places on the national team.
In the end only one Abaco player placed, but he placed first. Earl Smith
- three times National Champion and current Caribbean Champion - strutted
his stuff with 91 tons and 35 wins, assuring himself of a chance to defend
his title. The Bahamas team will consist of the following eight men and
five women:
