WINIFRED ELLEN SAWYER
Winifred Ellen Sawyer, 57, passed away on 14th January. A graveside service was held at Marsh Harbour Public Cemetery conducted by Bro Bob Cornea and Marshall Albury.
Winnie, as she was called by her family and friends, was the second daughter of two daughters and a son born to Charles and Marie Sawyer on 13th March 1943. On 11th March 1960 she married Elton Sawyer of Marsh Harbour and the union produced two sons, Chad and Michael. During the past twelve years Winnie was housebound and in recent years bedridden, resulting in round the clock attention. She was looked after by her family and Carol Davis.
Her memory will be cherished by her two sons, Chad and Michael; father, Charles Sawyer; stepmother, Mary Sawyer; sister, Betty Albury; daughter in law, Ginnie; brother in law, Carroll Albury; Grandson Shane Russell; two nephews, Doug and Sean Albury; Carol Davis, Paulette Smith as well as a number
ENAMAE JOHNSON
Funeral services for Enamae Johnson, 53, of Mores Island were held at St Matthew's Native Baptist Church, Mores Island, on 27th January. Officiating was Pastor Geneva Williams, assisted by Pastor Haywood Swain and Pastor Nixon Simms. Interment followed in the Public Cemetery, Mores Island.
She is survived by her husband, Nolson Junior Johnson; three sons, Tony, Wellington and Joel; four daughters, Sabrina Hield, Roselda Davis, Cindy and Margaret Johnson; four grandchildren; and a host of other friends and relatives.
THOMAZINE MERCEDES RECKLEY
Funeral services for Thomazine Mercedes (Mavis) Reckley, 48, of Murphy Town were held at Marsh Harbour Seventh Day Church on 28th January. Officiating were Pastor H A Roach and Pastor Rodger Moncur. Interment followed in Murphy Town Public Cemetery.

Mavis Reckley had been the popular founder and proprietor of Mavis Country Kitchen on Don MacKay Boulevard, Marsh Harbour.
GELETA THURSTON
Funeral services for Geleta Thurston, 45, were held at the Church of the Latter Rain in Dundas Town on 11th February. Officiating was Pastor Alexander Archer. Burial was in Dundas Town Public Cemetery.
Mrs Thurston is survived by her husband, Errol; daughters Raquel, Michelle, Kieschelle and Erin; son, Errol Jr; and many other relatives and friends.
CHARLES M MORGAN Jr

Charles M Morgan Jr of Southern Pines died Wednesday 7th February at his
residence. Private services will be held.
He was born in Bristol, Rhode Island, lived in Norwich, Connecticut, and was a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne in World War II. He graduated from Bentley College in Boston and was in charge of the Aetna Life offices in New York, NY; Cincinnati, Ohio; Syracuse, NY; Saginaw, Michigan and 34 years in moved to Pinehurst where he played golf and was a great golfer. He and his wife, Peggy, were Treasure Cay residents since 1970. He was a member of the Congregational Church in St. Louis.
Surviving are his wife Margaret D Morgan; a son, Charles M Morgan III of New York City; a daughter, Carolyn Morgan of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; four grandsons, Alister MacDonald Morgan, Sharnan Hill, Ashley Hill and Travis Graham.
MERLEAN RUSSELL
Funeral services for Merlean Russell, 72, of Coopers Town were held at Church of God Cathedral, Coopers Town, on 24th February. Officiating was Bishop Archilas W Cooper and Pastor Keith Russell, assisted by Past Wilbur Outten, Pastor Lernis Cornish, Rev Herbert Edgecombe, Rev Lionel Rolle and Rev Virgil Russell. Interment followed in Coopers Town Public Cemetery.
Mrs Russell is survived by her children, GussieMae and Rev Robert Newbold, Ranville and Rosemary Russell, Vencille and Lloyd Martin, Pastor Keith and Nurse Carolyn Russell, Magnola Rolle, Maxwell and Udean Rolle, Belthrom and Engret Curry, Stanley and Bridgette Delancy, Hilgrove and Paula Delancy, D Livingston Huyler Sr, Princess and Leo Bain, Evangelist Maxcine and Junior Gibson, Carolyn and Robert Fox, and Rev Virgil and Maria Russell; forty-five grandchildren; and a host of other friends and relatives
