SAND BANK YACHT CLUB

The Sand Bank Yacht Club of Treasure Cay had a gala Valentine's Day dinner dance at the Abaco Beach Resort on the evening of 14th February. Fleet Captain John Cash and his crew did a bang up job of decorating Below Decks in red and white for the festive event. The lively music, a good blend of golden oldies and modern, sparked the group into the limbo and jitterbug mode, as well as tender, romantic, cheek-to-cheek slow dancing befitting the occasion. The food prepared by Chef Dietmar and his staff was outstanding.
Our next two events will take us on the water with excursions to Shell Island on 24th February and a Beach Barbecue at Manjack Cay on 3rd March. We pray for good weather and calm seas.
We are saddened by the death of two of our members - Charlie Morgan and Past Commodore Mort Kaplan. Both will be greatly missed.
