HARVEY ALBERT LOWE
Funeral services for Harvey Albert Lowe, 60, of Green Turtle Cay were held at the New Plymouth Gospel Chapel on 25th January. Bro Junior Roberts and Bro Gurth Roberts officiated. Burial was made in the Public Cemetery, Green Turtle Cay.
He is survived by his sister, Myrtle Sawyer; brother-in-law, Marcel Sawyer; four nephews; two nieces; two grandnephews; one grandniece and many other friends and family.
Mr Lowe spent most of his life in the crawfish industry and was diagnosed with cancer early in January 2003. On 7th January he accepted the Lord as his Saviour and reached out to Him for comfort.
OLGA AGATHA ARCHER
Funeral services for Olga Agatha Archer, 77, were held on 1st February at Aldersgate Methodist Church, Marsh Harbour. Rev Charles Carey officiated and interment was made in Marsh Harbour Public Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Deanne, Veronica and Wayne Archer and Joy Demeritte; one sister, Whitlene Cooper; one brother, Patrick Roberts; aunt, Gleka Campbell; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
The funeral was attended by Senator Edison Key, MP Neville Wisdom and Mrs Barbara Pierre, representing the governing Progressive Liberal Party. Mrs Archer was a councillor for the PLP, of which Wisdom said, Agatha was a tower of strength. She rose to accounts manager from the humble post of junior clerk and, according to Bro Lernis Cornish, received the Gospel before her passing.
HAROLD WONG
Funeral services for Harold Wong, 60, of Casuarina Point, were held on 8th February at Epworth Methodist Church, Cherokee Sound. Officiating was Rev Carla Culmer, assisted by other ministers. Interment followed in Cherokee Sound Public Cemetery.
He is survived b y his wife, Beatrice; four children, Suzi, Jason, Shannon and Nakia Wong; two granddaughters, Emily Rose and Peyton Jade; two daughters-in-law, Sabrina and Beulah Wong; five brothers, Hubert, William, Barry, Ronald and Philip; one sister, Anna Mae Burrows; one aunt, Ada Amman; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
EDWARD WILLARD COOPER
Funeral services for Edward Willard Cooper, 66, of Freeport, Grand Bahama, were held at St Peters Anglican Church, Green Turtle Cay, on 8th February. Officiating was Fr Ivin Paterson, assisted by Euclid Baillou. Interment followed in Green Turtle Cay Public Cemetery.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Ada McGregor; one brother, Stafford Cooper; one sister, Carnetta Bootle; six grandchildren; thirteen nieces; seven nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
