BAHAMAS MORTGAGE CORPORATION
The Bahamas Mortgage Corporation recently
re-negotiated the hazard insurance premium rates due to the devastating impact
of Hurricane Floyd and subsequent homeowners insurance claims. These
negotiations resulted in an increase in the hazard insurance premiums for all of
the Corporation's mortgagers.
Letters providing specific details with
regards to the increase were recently mailed to all of our mortgagers. Persons
not in receipt of a letter may contact the Corporation to obtain a copy. Also,
persons whose mailing address have changed should call on the Corporation to
provide an update of their present postal address.
