OOPS!
In our October article Sir Lynden Oscar Pindling
1930-2000 we wrote: "The PLP persuaded Labour member Carlton Francis to
join them in forming a government..." That should have read: "The PLP persuaded
Labour member Randol Fawkes to join them in forming a government..." MP and
Minister Carlton Francis never wavered in his support for the PLP. Sir Randol
Fawkes, the Father of the Labour Movement, died earlier this year. We apologise
for the error.
