COMMUNICATIONS TO THE EDITOR
At last count there were 37 responses to the September issue dealing with Castaway
Cay. All of them were supportive of the article. We presnt two of them:
Dear Jack Hardy,
Your September issue of Abaco Journal arrived today and I certainly enjoyed reading
about your adventures at Castaway Cay. I only wish you had included a picture of
yourself so I could see what the author looked like.
I do have a request of you. With the latest hurricane again missing Abaco, I wondered
if there was some way we could get information about our beloved home away from home
through you. The TV stations in the US very rarely speak of The Bahamas and yet we
worry and wonder what is happening. Could we possibly begin some chain of information.
Thanks again for your humorous reporting about yet another dream beginning in the
Abacos.
