CHIEF COUNCILLOR RESIGNS
Roy Russell, the chief councillor of the Hope Town District Council, has resigned
because he felt his council was given no support, guidance or resources with which
to run it. Council members Arthur Elden and Richard Roberts also tendered their resignations in support of Mr Russell.
The Hope Town District is made up of Hope Town, Man-O-War Cay and Great Guana Cay.
Guana Cay provides one member, Hope Town and Man-O-War three each.
