TREASURE CAY IS RECOVERING VERY WELL FROM "FLOYD" AND MOST FACILITIES AT TREASURE CAY ARE OPEN. HERE IS A QUICK SUMMARY:

THE MARINA
The Treasure Cay Marina is OPEN, although a few slips are not available and some do not have electricity. Contrary to some reports, the Marina suffered only minor damage to the docks. The fuel station is operating, selling gas and diesel.

FISHING TOURNAMENTS (as previously scheduled)
January 26-29, 2000 Bahamas Wahoo Championship 4th Leg
June 11-16, 2000 17th Annual Treasure Cay International Billfish Tournament

HOTEL
The Hotel and Reception Center are OPEN. We currently can offer 53 rooms & suites and expect to be have all 95 rooms and 7 Treasure House villas ready by early December. If you want to celebrate the Millenium Week at Treasure Cay, we still have a few rooms available. All rooms have A/C, cable TV and water. The hotel and marina guest pool is OPEN. Our reverse osmosis water maker is operating normal and all water is being tested on a daily basis.

THE SPINNAKER RESTAURANT
The Spinnaker Restaurant reopened on October 15. The carpet is history and multiple color ceramic tiles are "in". The kitchen is serving a full menu.

THE TIPSY SEAGULL BAR OPEN.
Drinks are being served and Chris The Burner is performing several nights per week.

GOLF COURSE
The golf course and pro shop are OPEN and back to normal. The course had only minor damage; this included a little saltwater flooding (11th hole), broken water lines (from uprooted trees), some equipment damage from flooding, etc.

TENNIS
All six tennis courts are CLOSED due to major damage. A company has been contracted and reconstruction should proceed shortly. We expect to reopen four hard courts around December 1st.

OPEN: Supermarket, Laundry, Boat, Car, Cart & Bicycle Rentals, Café La Florence

CLOSED: Solomon's Mines (Little Switzerland), Marina Store
