GREEN TURTLE CAY ROBBERY DEATH
The whole of Green Turtle Cay was in shock after the death of Jeannie Pinder, 21, wife of Andrew Pinder, during a robbery in the early hours of Monday 15th September.
It is reported that two men broke into the couple's house and demanded money and the keys to the family business, the Sand Dollar Shop. Mr and Mrs Pinder were tied with electrical tape and their mouths gagged.
Mr Pinder was able to free himself eventually and immediately telephoned his mother. He then found his wife his wife unconscious. Mrs Pinder was later pronounced dead by Dr Ronald Wilson of Treasure Cay.
