JAMES JOSEPH FEENEY JR
James Joseph Feeney Jr, 68, of Wolfeboro, NH, and Treasure Cay died at his Wolfeboro home on 29th July after a brief illness. Mr Feeney was born 11th January 1934 in Boston, MA, son of the late Elizabeth Dunn and James J Feeney Sr. He was a graduate of Cathedral Latin High School and John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH.
Mr Feeney was a long time audit partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Cleveland. In 1984 the family moved to Anchorage, AK. When Mr Feeney retired from PwC in 1991 he moved to Wolfeboro. In Cleveland he was chairman of the Cuyahoga County Board of Mental Health and Retardation and a former member of Shaker Heights Country Club and Canterbury Golf Club.
In Anchorage he was a founder and president of the Alaska Light Opera Theatre and president of the Alaska World Affairs Council. In Wolfeboro Mr Feeney founded the Men’s Breakfast Club, volunteered on the Pathways and Ducks Unlimited committees, was president of the Lakes Region Newcomers Club and a board member of the Wolfeboro Friends of Music. He was a member of Bald Peak Colony Club. In Treasure Cay he was treasurer of the Beach Villa Owners Association for the past 20 years, serving as president until his death.
Family members include his wife of 25 years, Ernestine (Greenberger Dworkin) Feeney; brothers William of Los Angeles, CA, and David of Fairfield, CT; sons James, Thomas, Don, Ronald, Robert and William of Cleveland; Michael and David of Gloucester, MA; James Dworkin of Dallas, TX; daughters Kathleen of Cleveland; Jennifer Dworkin Vigran on Indianapolis, IN; and Deborah Dworkin of Phoenix, AZ; fifteen grandchildren, three nieces and many cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Ann.
ROSLYN MARINA ROBERTS
Funeral services for Roslyn Marina Roberts, 63, were held at A B Apostolic Church, Marsh Harbour, on 13th August. Officiating were Pastor David Caskey, Bro Bob Cornea and Bro Ted Pearce. Interment was made in Marsh Harbour Public Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, John Roberts; six brothers, Carroll, Vandel, Percy, Philip, Glen and Lonnie; three sisters, Olga, Ethlyn and Marilyn; and a host of other relatives and friends.
